CloudMoyo enables data and infrastructure readiness for advanced analytics and AI/ML applications at Terracon

BELLEVUE, WA.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– CloudMoyo, provider of Intelligent Data Services (IDS) and partner of choice at the intersection of cloud and AI, and Terracon, an industry-leading engineering consulting firm that provides environmental, facilities, geotechnical and materials services, are pleased to announce the completion of a data engineering initiative with the goal of modernizing the BI platform. This initiative is driving readiness for advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning at Terracon.

“Terracon’s vision is to empower its employees with an intuitive self-service data framework that allows them to utilize analytics and data science applications,” said Terracon Chief Information Officer, Jason Kephart. “CloudMoyo is a strategic partner in our innovation journey. Successful implementation of Snowflake data architecture on the Microsoft Azure platform has created centralized access for all structured and semi-structured data and allows us to leverage BI and AI capabilities for better business decisions.”

Terracon wanted to bring disparate data stored separately on multiple on-premise SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes into a centralized and cloud based tabular data model, providing access to over 2,000 employees and consultants via real-time reports and dynamic dashboards. CloudMoyo developed a modern, cloud-based solution in which the pipeline was designed using Azure Data Factory as an orchestration tool to move data from on-premises source systems into a central Azure Data Lake. The data was then transformed in Snowflake Data Warehouse—following the Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) pattern. The data was then modeled into a single enterprise tabular cube hosted in Azure Analysis Services which is scalable and allows unlimited expansion and growth. CloudMoyo developed business centric and actionable Power BI reports for all lines of business and organization hierarchy. These intuitive, dynamic dashboards have a self-service capability for analyzing data, bringing to life the success story of the empowerment of users at Terracon.

CloudMoyo has deep expertise in delivering services and solutions using Microsoft tools and technologies, with more than 10 years’ experience delivering intelligent data, analytics, applications, and implementation services at more than 50 customers. This includes Fortune 2000 companies across industries such as healthcare and bio-technology; manufacturing; high technology; architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC); and transportation and railroad.

“We are deeply invested in our customer’s success and strive to delight our customers by surpassing expectations,” said CloudMoyo Co-Founder & CEO, Manish Kedia. “Our deep expertise in deploying tools like Snowflake on the Azure platform positions CloudMoyo as a strategic partner of choice for our customers by helping deliver scalable solutions and rapid time-to-value through intelligent data services and innovation at the intersection of cloud and AI.”
