Manish Kedia

Co-Founder & CEO

Manish is a senior entrepreneurial leader and executive manager who has grown tremendously over a span of 20 years. He has worked with leading companies, growing products and consulting services P&L’s. He started his career with Siemens AG. He joined Nexgenix, at an early stage start-up, as an associate and grew to Partner & VP, as he built the national consulting firm focused on business intelligence, data warehouse, and CRM and led a merger with TCG. He joined the Microsoft management to lead Microsoft Consulting (MCS) Global Services strategy and later led a big data and analytics appliance launch in an SQL server business group. He moved back to startup roots with Edifecs, a B2B healthcare compliance company, as SVP of national accounts and business development. Recently, as CEO, he launched and led Benefitalign, a cloud-based enterprise healthcare insurance marketplace company to a successful exit.

Manish is passionate about applied technology and loves to ‘reimagine’ business to leverage disruptive innovation of cloud, big data, devices, and analytics, especially in the healthcare, life sciences retail, and high tech industries. He has been an active advisor to several organizations, including industry leaders like Dell Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Silicon Valley big data analytics firms like Action and others.

Manish graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai, India and holds a Certificate in Business Management from Wharton school of business, University of Pennsylvania, PA.

Manish lives in Redmond, WA with his wife and 14-year-old daughter. He enjoys the Pacific Northwest outdoors, hiking and trails and loves to travel with family. He is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan – Go Hawks! Believe!

Sanjay Rajashekar

President, Services and Solutions

Sanjay is an experienced leader with over 24 years of experience in the high-tech/software services and products industry, incubating new businesses across various continents. His passion is to help IT companies on strategic initiatives and achieve rapid growth. Sanjay also has experience in working in several start-up companies in account management, software consulting, and technical roles such as designing enterprise architectures for Fortune 1000 customers, as well as developing custom software solutions and products.

Sanjay brings a wealth of skills to CloudMoyo, specializing in M&A, alliances, mobility, IoT, and enterprise. He is passionate about the power of learning from fresh and disruptive thinking from younger generations, serving as a mentor at the University of Washington’s Co-Motion and is a board advisor at iLink Systems.

Sanjay graduated with an engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Bangalore University. He is an avid reader, has a passion for speed, enjoys photography and travel. He lives in Seattle with his wife, 3 kids, a gigantic puppy and a moody cat.

Rajeev Kak

VP, Marketing

A digital-savvy marketer with extensive experience in product marketing, lead generation, pipeline nurturing, and inside sales, Rajeev brings 20 years of marketing leadership expertise to CloudMoyo. Rajeev has held senior management positions at Adobe and i2 Technologies and was recognized as one of the top 50 most talented CMOs for 2014 by CMO-Asia and the World Marketing Congress. Rajeev’s areas of expertise encompass ERP, supply chain, analytics, and launching and building new products and markets.

Rajeev leads the marketing team at CloudMoyo, spearheading the company’s marketing strategy and execution, managing product marketing for their CCM and CRTM products, as well as the analytics services, partner marketing, and CloudMoyo’s go-to-market strategy.

He graduated with an engineering degree from IIT Delhi, completed an MBA from FMS, Delhi University, and holds an MS in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University.

Rajeev is an avid hiking and trekking enthusiast and has trekked in the Himalayas, about which he has many stories to share. He lives with his wife in Newcastle, WA, and has a son who is pursuing a CS degree at the University of Washington.

Maria Berardo

Senior Director, HR and Operations

Maria is an experienced HR professional with over 25 years of industry experience managing HR functions in multinational companies spanning the US, Canada, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. She has extensive expertise in designing and implementing learning and development systems, organization change assessments, change management, communication plans, union relationship management, program management, strategic recruiting, global M&A, succession planning, coaching, and leadership development.

While leading CloudMoyo’s HR and Operations departments, Maria plays a key role in the company’s continued growth and maturity, managing recruiting, training, benefits planning, employer relations, organizational development, and operations.

Maria graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a degree in Psychology, received a master’s degree in Human Resources/Personnel Administration from the Universidad del Salvador, and an MBA from Cornell University. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Maria lives with her husband and her 6-year-old Siberian husky in Seattle. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, hiking, running, sailing, and biking.

Hrishikesh Khasnis

Head of Product Engineering and Cloud Analytics

Hrishikesh is an experienced engineering professional with over 16 years of experience in all leading phases of diverse technology projects and has a proven track record of architecting and delivering scalable software solutions in various fields such as internet, network management, CRM, cloud engineering, data analytics and product development.

Hrishi is an expert in agile and waterfall project management methodologies and carries experience in building products, enterprise apps and mobile applications using cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure. He loves staying updated on latest technology trends (such as Azure, C#, .Net, etc.).

At CloudMoyo, Hrishi has been instrumental in evolving an Azure advanced analytics center of excellence with best practices, frameworks and methodologies that are weaved into CloudMoyo Transportation product suite.

Hrishikesh graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Kolhapur. He lives in Pune, India with his wife and a daughter. Apart from a love for cars, he is a cricket connoisseur !

Prithweesh-Bhattacharjee-CM

Prithweesh Bhattacharjee

Head of Professional Services and Delivery Management

Prithweesh is an experienced Service Delivery Professional with over 15 years of experience in business process support and technology operations for software, learning and hi-tech. He has managed Professional Services operations (Customer Service, Technical Support and Implementation teams) for both on premise and cloud hosted applications.

In his current role at CloudMoyo, he excels in delighting top global enterprises with end-to-end services for contract lifecycle management solutions. He is also responsible for managing the Delivery operations and resourcing for the entire company.

Prithweesh graduated with a degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s college, Calcutta University and holds a MBA in Systems. He lives in Pune, India with his wife and two sons. He enjoys watching war movies with ‘Band of Brothers’ being his all-time favorite.

Samir Bodas

Chairman of Board

Samir began his career at McKinsey & Co., followed by several years in management at Microsoft Corporation. He was appointed CEO of Disha Technologies in 2003, where he grew the business five-fold and managed its acquisition by Aztecsoft in 2005. In early 2007, he was appointed CEO of Aztecsoft and successfully guided the company to become the fastest growing publicly traded mid-cap IT services company. In 2009, he helped finalize Aztecsoft’s acquisition by MindTree.

Samir received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Samir is a golf addict, to the annoyance of his family. When not playing golf, he reads books about golf. And when not reading about golf, he contributes to the local community as a Board Member of the Seattle Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and as a trustee of the Lakeside School.

Monish Darda

Board Member

Monish has more than 20 years of experience in application and systems software development and the architecting of enterprise distributed systems. Along with Unmesh, he co-founded Websym Technologies in 1998. He set up and headed the India R&D operation of Storability, an enterprise storage management startup from Boston. Storability was eventually acquired by Sun Microsystems after which Monish founded and led the India R&D of BladeLogic, helping build a highly scalable enterprise platform for server management in the data center. BladeLogic was acquired by BMC Software after a successful IPO, and Monish contributed to BMC’s cloud management vision, laying the foundation for some of the early pioneering work on cloud resource management and provisioning. He is also the co-inventor of two patents in this area.

Monish has a BE in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida, USA.

In his spare time, Monish is a self-proclaimed gadget freak, gamer and loves his gaming consoles and his FPS games. He often claims that video games keep him fit! His other interests are Formula 1 and reading. He is a sci-fi aficionado and loves Isaac Asimov.

Vijay Vashee

Board Member

Vijay Vashee, a genial technocrat, and a philanthropist began his career with Microsoft Corporation in 1982. During his 19 years at Microsoft Corporation, he held various positions in marketing, program management, and general management and is credited with successfully achieving significant milestones for several key Microsoft products.
Leading the marketing and product launch efforts for Microsoft Corporation’s core applications, Vijay orchestrated the integration of PowerPoint into the Microsoft Office Suite and guided PowerPoint’s revenue growth from $100 million to over $600 million. He also managed the growth of Microsoft Corporation Project from just $5 million in product revenue to over $100 million. At the end of Vijay’s term leading these products, both had gained #1 market share in their categories.

Vijay currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and is a member of the Computing and Information Science Advisory Council, Cornell University Entrepreneurship Council and the University of Chicago Entrepreneurship Board. Vijay is closely involved with a number of start-ups and is the co-founder of the Seattle Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a not-for-profit organization that supports and mentors budding entrepreneurs.

Vijay is a Cornell alumnus with a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He obtained his undergraduate degree from IIT, Powai.

Craig Sherman

Advisor

Craig Sherman is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he focuses on corporate and security laws, representing companies, venture capital firms, and investment banks in private placements and public offerings. Craig also has a broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing and domestic and international joint ventures.

Craig began private practice in 1989 with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and Paris and joined Perkins Coie in Seattle in January 1995. He became a director in the Kirkland office of Venture Law Group in December 1996 and was Managing Director of the Kirkland office from May 2000 until August 2002, when he joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He has been a member of the firm’s Policy Committee, Compensation Committee, Nominating Committee, and Finance Committee.

Craig received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and holds an M.A. in International Political Studies and a B.A degree in International Relations and French from Stanford University.

Amar Nehru

Advisor

Amar spent his early career with Merchant Marines and was the youngest non-EU First Officer with A.P. Moller, Maersk Line. Subsequently, he joined Procter & Gamble in their accelerated Management Track Program, serving in a variety of functions in a treasury, product management, and advertising. In 1992, Amar joined and spent fifteen years at Microsoft Corp. He started and ran Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Venture Integration, and Microsoft Capital. In his role as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Corporate Strategy, he oversaw and executed approximately three hundred deals for Microsoft, including the Great Plains acquisition, was instrumental in getting Microsoft into the navigation space, the game console business, the storage business, and the business applications space. Later, he started Trustworthy Computing at Microsoft, which was a major marketing initiative, institutionalized the competitive review process for Microsoft to evaluate its product and business strategies, and then finally got Microsoft into the healthcare vertical. He has also consulted and been on advisory boards for several companies, including Jobster, Mozy Life, EMC, and Nexplore.

In his last role, Amar oversaw business development and strategy for the Unlimited Potential Group at Microsoft, whose function was to extend Windows and other Microsoft products into emerging markets, such as Brazil, Russia, India, and China.

Amar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the Virginia Commonwealth University, of College of William and Mary, and holds a Master’s of Management Degree with a minor in Transportation Management from the Kellogg School, Northwestern University. He lives with his wife in Redmond, WA and has three daughters based in America. He enjoys writing, cooking, painting, and, as you might expect, the water!
